We have decided to extend the HERCULION name to include another area of our lives, filmmaking. We’ve got a few cool projects in the works including a music video we shot for our friends, The Dead Ships, that’s coming out very soon. We’re pretty excited about all of this. Stay tuned.
Also, we’re still a band.Though we have been pretty quiet on that front lately, we’re very much looking forward to putting some new songs together in the next few months and eventually getting back on little stages all around Los Angeles.

A big ass Hercu-hug and thanks to Paul Martinez for the great, raw mix, Mark McKellop and Jesse Peraza for shooting some great footage and playing lots of NBA 2K13 with us, Johnny Liu for his hospitality, gear, and help getting things setup, and Brooke McKenzie and Zack Silverstein for hanging out and being awesome. More live videos to come!
Happy generic holiday to all of ya’ll!
Our show at El Cid was by far the most fun we have had all year. Great sound, lots of friendly, costumed faces (including some that were not familiar to us), and some ridiculously intense dancing after our set durring Hello Echo and Burning Jet Black. I was swinging a chair above my head on the dance floor at one point. Thanks to everyone who came, to Hecko and BJB, and to the fine folks at El Cid.
Here is a small taste our set for those who missed it:
And some photos over on facebook.
